From Orangeville, Utah, proceed west on Utah Highway 29 for approximately 10 miles to Joes Valley Reservoir. Continue on Hwy 29 around the north end of the reservoir to Forest Road 0144 where a sign directs you to Orange Olsen Administrative Site. Turn right (north) on this gravel road for 200 feet. The Orange Olsen dwelling is to your left, Orange Olsen cabin is straight ahead. |

The dwelling and cabin have water with a flush toilet and shower in the bathrooms; kitchens are equipped with sinks, refrigerator, stove and simple cookware (pots/pans, silverware, utensils). Basic cleaning supplies are provided along with toilet paper. The dwelling has two sets of bunk beds and two single twin beds all with mattresses. The cabin has two sets of bunk beds with mattresses. The dwelling and cabin may be reserved either individually or together. Visitors who reserve the cabin are also allowed to bring RVs or camp trailers and place them adjacent to the cabin on pads offering water and sewer hookups. The pads have no power. RVs and camp trailers may not be brought to the dwelling. One utility trailer is allowed at both the dwelling and cabin. |

To obtain a key to the dwelling or cabin, you must stop by one of the three Ranger District offices during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday); Ferron Ranger District: 115 West Canyon Road, Ferron, UT 84523; Sanpete Ranger District: 540 North Main Street, Ephraim, UT 84627; Price Ranger District: 599 W. Price River Drive, Price, UT 84501. Keys may be returned to the office from which they were acquired or they may be left in a drop box in the cabin (alternatives may be provided if requested in advance). If not reserved, the dwelling and cabin are available on a first-come, first-served basis through Forest Service offices in Ephraim, Ferron or Price. Walk-in reservations may only be made for two nights at a time in order to maintain a priority for reservations. Cell service is not available. Don't Move Firewood: Help prevent the spread of tree-killing pests in our national forests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site.
